July 18th 2007. Continued...Do watch out for application processes that ’sound’ as if they can be completed online but when it gets to the end of the process, require you to print/mail the document. The one exception to all this snail-mail paperwork that we have come across is the new savings account from the Alliance and Leicester which says the whole thing can be done online. I should add, however, that it is clearly written in the small print that A&L reserve the right to request documentation from you though it is not clear in which circumstances this request is likely to apply.
